Our 40th Wedding Anniversary - we took a cruise to the Caribbean from Puerto Rico. This is Jim and I on our cruise ship. Beautiful trip over 6 islands. Weather was very nice compared to Utah (30 degrees in Utah and snowing!) Beverly got sunburned. Jim went snorkeling and swimming with turtles. Every night the cruise ship had shows, huge dinners, and we swear we gained weight. We even tried to use the stairs all the time. Elevator took too long anyway. Jim bought Bev a nice set of pearls and diamond earrings studs. The water was so blue and clear! White sand on beaches. It was so beautiful with all the flowers and greenery. Scenery was lovely! Sunsets in evenings were spectacular.

After the cruise, we are spending Christmas in beautiful south Florida with Jed and Jenny and their family.

Ash gets a helmet

We went to the doctor and Ash got fitted for his helmet. They call it Cranial Remodeling. At any rate, last time we went they laid him in a scanner and made a 3D image of his head. They then informed me he had a very bad flat spot (duh) and he would need a helmet. So corny. Anyway, they sent away for the helmet to be made and we got it today. Ash has to wear it 23 hours a day for about 8 months or so. It gets one hour to dry out and be cleaned. We even get to decorate it. Basically the helmet is tight in certain spots and loose around the flat spot. The brain will grow in the direction of least resistance so it pushes out the flat spot. We'll probably start calling him silly names like "white helmet man" as a spoof from Space Balls.

He is sporting a new Hair doo. Tami took him in for a haircut because she like Charlie's hair cut. After the hair cut was over everyone loved her (aka Smokey) and thought she was so cute. Tami thinks its the ears, but hummm. Either way Smokey looks adorable.

Happy Birthday, Grandma Mary!

Last Friday, the Bonneys invited us over to a TEA PARTY (no tea was involved) for sweet little Grandma Mary's birthday. The party was complete with finger sandwiches, deviled eggs, crackers and cheese, cake, and even DRESS-UPS. Grandma had brought a whole bunch of hats and gloves for all the girls to wear. It was really fun. Husbands and kids were invited, I just didn't get any pictures of them... sorry. Thanks to the Bonney Family for hosting a fun evening... I could tell it really meant a lot to Grandma.

Hey I just wanted to tell the world that I have followed suit and finally got a new blog. I had an old one when I worked at Big Planet and now moved to mcgeenews.blogspot.com - I was trying to get my family interested but so far it is just my site. If I change the name I will let you know. It will be something like jennysranting or ravingbyjenny. Who knows.

Better Jed's Birthday Video

I redid the video so it was clearer. I am still getting the hang of my editing and compressing software. It takes longer to load since its bigger but you should be able to tell that he is 33 years old and see our faces!

Dental School Happenings

I just have to update everyone on what Jed is doing in dental school. Right now he is taking a head/neck anotomy class, a periodontal class, hystology (tissue structure on the cellular level), some sort of immunology class, and some others I don't really want to know about. But what is really funny and cool is that they are starting to work in the clinic already. But they can't see 'real' patients yet just each other. That's right. Today, Jed's first patient was his lab partner. They will take turns learning to clean teeth, take x-rays, floss each other's teeth, take molds, give shots, and examing gums, periodontals, and tooth-like stuff. So the fun has begun. I have to admit I am glad they get to practice on each other and learn what it all feels like before they see real patients.

Scrap-a-way at Oakley

I can't believe that I didn't take more pictures...I must have really gotten into my scrapbooking! I feel bad, Kim was there, too...no picture of her. No picture of the FOUR dogs we had up there, either. We had quite a productive time... We had, I believe, 6 Cricuts going and we stayed up as late as we could stand. Tammi and Kisti got over 50 pages done and I got 12. (that's really good for me.) Thanks, girls for a fun weekend.

Well, not much as happened with me this new year. Work is still crazy busy and the Cricut has exploded in my office. I still write a newsletter part for the Cricut and enjoy creating new ideas for my weekly newsletters. Eddie is growing bigger and is chewing on everything- I don't remember Ella going through this -wow I am learning patience. News Years was great, I went to Vegas as usual and played with Michelle. We had a really good time and I got to see everyone it was fun to spend time with all my friends. I will attach some pictures. I am getting excited for my cruise in a few weeks. I will post pictures and a blog after the trip. Love you

This is a great idea. Jed kept telling me that we ought to get a website to blog on and post images. So this saves me the time and effort! I don't know why I set our name to be Jed and Jenny - it will really be just me posting. We had a fun christmas and Beverly has all the pictures on her camera! We will have to find a way to help her post them online. Otherwise, the flight home was okay, we had one stop-over and are now enjoying a nice evening at home. We have not adjusted back to florida time yet so I am wide awake at 11pm. Jed starts school again tomorrow and I am going to paint our front room terra cotta unless Jed protests.

okay so I'm not really dazed but I am confused. I have never heard of this blog thing before? but it sounds like fun. Spencer how did ally like the puppy charlie? Kim told the boys were so excited. I hope you guys have a great christmas, don't eat too much and make yourself sick. :)

Christmas Time

Well, Christmas is almost here and I've finished my shopping. I've even got something for the dogs. I am so excited to go home for Christmas- it will be fun to hang out with the family and see Grandma Harris. I am still planning on writing my Christmas letter- so keep a look out in the mail.
